Clontarf Sales

The Clontarf sales market has been very quiet this year with only 11 sales over the last 6 months and an unusually large amount of properties for sale – 10 at the start of September rather than 5 or 6 which you would normally see in Spring. This month there have been two very strong sales. 45 Cutler Rd Clontarf a renovated 5 bedroom home with stunning views and a pool for $7,60,000 and 75 Cutler Rd which from the photos looked like an art installation – it is so beautiful. Set on 1200m2 of waterfront reserve land, it featured 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms with incredible dress circle views that sold for a reported $20,500,000. This is an amazing result for the suburb and shows that buyers will pay up for quality turnkey homes.

The last weekend in September is one of my favourite weekends of the year. It is footy finals time. Not surprisingly I have been finding it very hard to convince anyone to meet with me after 2pm on Saturday with the AFL Grand Final, the Bledisloe Cup against the All Blacks and the Rugby League Finals all taking preference over real estate.
